Belongs in the hybrid group between the red maple (Acer rubrum) and silver maple (Acer saccharinum). These species have been chosen for the autumn color, growth rate and habit. The cultivar, 'Autumn Fantasy' is an upright tree with and brillant autumn colors, more like a silver maple than a red maple.
